Watson, racism and expertise

"For how do I know whether or not the things I don’t know precisely are important or not? It could easily seem that only an expert can tell whether my lack of expertise is critical or not in the given context. So as a non-expert, I go beyond my expertise whenever I say something and I don’t have the expert knowledge to know whether my level of simplicity is too simplistic. But then it seems debate has to be left to the experts after all."
