I founded The Philosophers’ Magazine with Jeremy Stangroom in 1997 and edited it until 2010, when I became editor-in-chief, a largely advisory role. Published four times a year, tpm as it is now known, is a real magazine of real philosophy. It contains essays, features, debates, interviews, columns, news and reviews. Each issue features a single-issue forum which contains a variety of articles around a specific theme, such as bioethics, existentialism, sex, after 11 September and women thinkers.
TPM Online is as self-contained and important as the magazine. The website is edited by Jeremy and contains interactive games and tests, a quotes database, a cafe as well as articles.
